College and Career Readiness Road Maps for High School Graduation

Pinellas County Schools' Programs of Study offer clear road maps to help students achieve high school and post-secondary goals through various paths like Advanced Placement, dual enrollment, and industry certification courses. The district upholds high standards and questions whether a single test should determine a student's ability to graduate. Florida has the opportunity to lead in valuing industry certifications, promoting AP and dual enrollment credits, and ensuring all students are college and career ready. A one-size-fits-all assessment system is no longer viable, and Florida must provide differentiated options for students' post-high school success.
