Review of the WECC PreSchedule Guidelines PreSchedule Calendar Guideline (Last updated in 2010). • Per IWG discussion 08/26/2015 : • Request for 2/3/2 for Thanksgiving to accommodate early out prior to Holiday, and elevate pressure on third day. • Used to be 2/3/2 but received a request to be closer to flow. Does it still apply in today world> . • Take a look at gas schedule, does it still align? • Participant (s) cautioned about changes to guideline. • Overall appears to be working

Con’t review of the WECC PreSchedule Guidelines • Per IWG discussion : • If Christmas falls on Thursday follow Thanksgiving schedule • Impacts with Christmas Eve • Concern on Scheduling with three holidays in a row • Occurs approx. every 5 years. • Friday after Christmas can be declared Federal Holiday. Next Steps: • Review the Gas Schedule and alignment with WECC PreSchedule Calendar, • Review impact of the 2 request. • Recommendations January ISAS

  4. Impact of changes to the • INT-003-WECC-CRT-2.1 • Changes in INT-021 WECC WIT Check out Confirmation WR2 • WR2. Each Balancing Authority shall confirm its common NSI with each Adjacent Balancing Authority at the following time periods: • Prior to implementing the energy profile of the aggregated Confirmed Interchange (and) • After the operating hour. Heads up – This may transition to some BA’s not checking out in WIT for PreSchedule.
