APR Calculations • Status: measured on a three-year average • Progress: two-year averages are compared to determine improvement • Growth: measures individual student gains • Map Index (MPI) is calculated by multiplying the number of students at each level by • 1=Below Basic • 3=Basic • 4-Proficient • 5=Advanced • Then divided by the number of students who took the test and multiplied by 100. Special Education: MAP-A • Out of all eligible students that took the MAP-A, approximately 98% scored at proficient or advanced. • One to two percent of our special education population take the MAP-A. • The MAP-A will be called: Dynamic Learning Maps based on the Missouri Learning Standards to begin the spring of 2015.
