Prior Knowledge Prior Knowledge: Connecting new information to existing knowledge happens when you actually have information that relates to the new knowledge
Prior Misconceptions ? Prior Misconceptions- Information that is incorrect prevents learners from accepting new information.
Formed about what we see and hear: based on knowledge or misconception about how things should be. Expectations Halo Effect- people expect good behavior from someone me they admire and will perceive their behavior as positive. Horns Effect- People expect negative behaviors from someone they do not like and they will perceive their behavior as negative.
