Current Business • This quarter we signed a contract with NOMO Auto Groups to design an efficient database.
NOMO Auto Group Problem • Unable to update on real-time. • Redundant Data Stored as Private Files not updated to Company Data Base. • Data cannot be accessed at same time. • Use human eye to search single data on the spread sheet. • Cannot track selling information and inventory information.
Scope of Work • NOMO MOTORS is in need to move to a higher level Database Management System • Can sometimes loss data and give back inaccurate sale details to our dealers
Business Impact • Training new / old employees • Teach them the new database • Makes tracking easier for employees
Progress to DateInitech Design – 4th Quarter 2009 • Initial Study – Analyzed NOMO’s existing data • Database Design – Implemented in to MySQL on PHP MyAdmin • Implementation – Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 • GUI - Samples developed and modified, implemented with CSS • Operation – hosted on PSU Webspace • Maintenance and evaluation – ongoing
