Stormwater System Rehabilitation • Project Description – 216 Acre Intermodal Business Park has its own stormwater collection system including a 10-acre Retention Pond that needs to be dredged. • Overview of the project – 10-acre pond needs to be dredged in order to increase stormwater capacity in canals, retention pond and stormwater pumping system. Pond is over 50 years old. • Key milestones and dates – Project being reviewed. Distribution system all are in need of rehabilitation. • Project budget – Estimated $ 750,000.00 • Existing partners – Port Authority • Desired Outcome – Improve stormwater flow and capacity. Enhance water quality of stormwater entering the Mississippi River. Prevent flooding of 216-acre facility. • Current Status – Planning & Pending Funding • Key Challenges/Needs to Achieving Desired Outcome – • Funding and Technical expertise • Disposal of dredge material • Longer-Term Remedies/Actions – • Funding for O & M

Sewerage Improvements to Chalmette and Arabi Intermodal Business Parks • Project Description – Connect Sewer Collection system to the local municipal sewer collection treatment system. • Overview of the project –Chalmette location has its own system that is in poor condition due to age. Arabi site has no system. • Key milestones and dates – Sewer improvements would enhance ability to attract new business and create jobs. • Project budget – Estimated $500,000 at each location • Existing partners – St. Bernard Parish Government • Desired Outcome – Utilize port field program to connect sewerage system to municipal system, which will enhance the environment and provide economic development opportunities. • Current Status – Planning • Key Challenges/Needs to Achieving Desired Outcome – • Funding • Project design • Longer-Term Remedies/Actions – Funding for O & M

Port Facilities Improvement Projects • Project Description – Reconstruct Berths A and F. • Overview of the project – Reconstruct Berths A and F - 100 year old docks are not in use and on verge of collapse. • Key milestones and dates – over $20 million spent on adjacent docks since 1998. • Project budget – Estimated to be $10 million. Budget to be determined based on engineering studies. • Existing partners – Associated Terminals of St. Bernard and Port Authority • Desired Outcome – 1) Increase deep draft Port facilities; 2)Job creation via increase in the number of vessel calls; 3) Sustain and increase cargo volume; 4) Business Retention. • Current Status – Seeking funding • Key Challenges/Needs to Achieving Desired Outcome – • Cost and Funding • Project design • Short-Term Remedies/Actions – Funding • Longer-Term Remedies/Actions – Funding for O & M
