  2. Look at the word below photobiography Remember, when you come to a longer word, you can try several strategies for figuring out the word and trying to pronounce it. You can: Use letter sounds and look for familiar words or patterns. Divide the word into syllables. Break the word into word parts, such as roots or affixes. Use a dictionary to confirm the word’s pronunciation.
