Start up utility Please enter 'quit' or select the desired method of NMS connectivity: 1.A connection to NMS through a DPN network. 2.A connection to NMS through a Passport network. 3.A direct connection to NMS from this Passport using Frame Relay PVC. 4.A connection to NMS via Passport ILS networking. Please enter 'quit' or select one of the following: 1. Reset node to CP-only software. 2. Create Sw lpts and load software on FPs. 3. Perform on-card tests of each card in the node. 4. Configure the node for NMS connectivity. 5. Display the cards inserted in the node. 6. Provision a spare CP. 7. Change selected NMS connectivity. 8. Confirm the provisioning.
Unit summary In this unit, you • used operator commands to provision a Passport node • compared saved and provisioning views • activated your provisioning data • provisioned logical processors, logical processor types and control processors • performed Startup on a Passport 7400 or 15000.
