  1. School magazine questionnaire analysis Here is a bar chart to show the different ages of the 10 respondents I asked questions to. The bar chart shows me that the majority of the respondents are 17 years old. I will use this information to add suitable cover lines or banners for people of this age for example a cover line to do with driving as this is the age you can begin driving. The pie chart illustrates that I distributed the questionnaire to equal amount of male and female respondents. This means that my results throughout the questionnaire are not bias towards one gender. The information means that the magazine will have a balance of information suitable for males and females.

  2. This graph shows the A levels the respondents are studying. This is helpful to me as it gives me a clear idea of what to include on the front cover of the magazine. The results showed that Law and ICT were the 2 most popular A levels studied, with this information I could include cover lines or a banner that is related to law and ICT to draw in the target audience.

  3. How often do you read the current school magazine? A few times a month Never A few times a week Everyday Asking the respondents this question gave me a general idea of what sort of things to include in the front page of the school magazine I was going to create as I wanted the cover lines to be based on the interests of my target audience. The results show that music and sports are the two most popular interests, these two topics will feature on my school magazine front cover to appeal to the respondents. This graph shows how regular the respondents currently read the school magazine. The results show the majority of respondents read the school magazine a few times a month.

  4. This bar chart clearly shows that majority of respondents thought that both black and blue were the two colours that stand out best and go well together. With this information I will be making the colour scheme of the school magazine blue and black.

  5. This pie chart illustrates what the respondents would like to see included in the school magazine magazine. From the pie chart I can conclude that Exam information/ tips and Information on school activities are the most popular options. This information will help me with creating the school magazine as I can add what the majority of the respondents would like to see onto the magazine. This question was useful as it would help me with the format layout of the school magazine and whether it should be more image heavy or text heavy. The results showed the respondents would prefer to see a balance of both text and images, I will make the school magazine have a equal amount of images and text.
