Life is a journey… where I’ve been... Hiroshima where I was born and spend most of my teens. With a location of 3 minute-walk from Setouchi inland sea and 5 minute-drive from mountain range, I enjoyed snorkeling in Summer and skiing in Winter. Tokyo where I lived for 6 years since I entered Waseda Univ. in 2002. Among unique towns in the capital city, Shimokitazawa, the town which was 10 minutes bicycle-ride from the apartment, was my favorite. I drank a lot, talked a lot and finally learned a lot about waste of time and money…
Life is a journey… where I’ve been... Kamogawa I spent 2 years in this small fishing town. In spite of its bad access from central Tokyo and other inconveniences of living the suburbs, Kamogawa is the place that always makes me open and feel comfortable.
Life is a journey Trips to Los Angeles I first visited the city when I was 12 years old. Blue sky, the comfortable climate and endless beach, all that I saw and felt are precious memories. I’ve been there five times, and I find it hard to be away from this attractive city.
Life is a journey Trips to New York 1 week stay here in mid March taught me that this financial and somewhat artistic city was not the place to live. It was freezing cold! I walked up and down in Manhattan and went to a lot of galleries and museums. I thought that New York was the place which had produced fictional existence as real objects successfully. Paris the city, which attracts so many artists and shoppers who are addicted by brand name products, was actually attractive. Its traditional and progressive atmosphere is so unique in the accelerating world.
Life is a journey Trips to Hawaii where I first went surfing and clubbing, both of which would lead me astray… Los Cabos a resort town in the most south of California peninsula, where I visited 3 years ago. I spent only two days here, but the scenery and the people were really impressive and unforgettable.
