  5. Sahara Desert Welcome to Sahara Desert! It’s cold at night. The Sahara Desert stretches across North Africa, from Atlantic Ocean to Red Sea. The Sahara Desert is big and it hardly even rains there. Plants in the Sahara Desert are special. Birds and some animals, live in them.

  6. Desert Animals! Spiders, snakes and lizards eat little insects, because they cannot survive without food. Lions and leopards chase animals into the deserts to make an easy meal.

This is a harmless lizard.Their length is 20cm. Throny Devils lay eggs under the ground. They lay 3 to 10 eggs. The eggs hatch 3-4 months later. Throny Devils live up to 20 years.

  8. -Found. Throny Devils are found in Western Australia, North and South Queensland.

  9. -Food Throny Devil eats about 600 to 300 ants! That’s a lot! They eat one ant a time. 45 ants a minute.

  10. Important Note! Throny Devils are endangered. People save Throny Devil’s nests by placing wire around them. By doing this, they keep predators out and hold babies after hatching. This seems to be working.

  11. My Poster! Endangered Animals! Throny Devil! Save the Throny Devils! Save them!

  12. Coyotes -Features Different colours help coyotes to hide under bushes, rocks and grasses. Coyotes have sharp eyesight.
