Getting to Know One Another • Introductions • Review Team Leader: Name, experience in education and with school improvement • Leadership Team: Name, assignment, motivation to be on leadership team, and one of the following: • Describe your school • What has the school been working on over the last 5 years? • What has worked well and why? • What goals do you have for the school?

Assessing Readiness • What is the level of the staff’s commitment to improving student achievement? • What information do we need most to improve our school? • How does the staff react to change? • How does the staff respond to coaching? • How willing are the leadership team members to lead change efforts and to help to ensure schoolwide commitment to agreed-upon practices?
