  7. Certifications • TNI (The NELAC Institute) • Primary through state of New Hampshire • Secondarily can perform work in seven additional states • Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection • DoD (Department of Defense) • ISO 17025

  9. About Me • Started at Alpha in 2005. • Worked for 3 years in the organic extractions department. • Moved to Quality Assurance September 2008. • QA responsibilities include: • Primary Qualtrax administrator • Non-conformance reports • Internal Audits • Managing external audits

  10. Alpha and Qualtrax • Kicked off in August 2012 • Rolled out to staff February 2013 • Converted to the cloud Fall 2018

  11. Workflows • Currently Alpha has 18 Workflows in use. • Started with our Non-Conformance Report • Other Workflows include: • Equipment Information • Accident Report(s) • Tracking Vendor Issues • Certification Requests • Employee Tracking

  13. Air Media Issues • Not all Air Issues are NCRs • Created Air Media Issue Workflow • If needed, launches into the NCR Workflow

  14. Employee Position Tracking Lets QA, Safety, and HR know when someone changes position Either permanent, cross-training, or temporary Ensures: Employee is in proper group(s) Receives correct safety training HR and QA have the same information

  15. Internal Job Candidate Apply for a new job… If hired, launches Employee Position Tracking If yes, then launches Employee Position Tracking with some fields already filled out.

  17. Search Results Not a lot of detailed information, but it will get you started. Click on the ID and it will bring you to the Workflow.

  18. Reports • Use multiple weekly reports to check on the status of workflows • Set up reports for Sales and Project Management • Easily check on their clients • Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Reports for upper management

  19. Email Actions • Helpful to keep upper management in the loop • Useful for reminders to check up on items

  20. Tips • Push the employees to use Qualtrax • Be open to changes/edits • Order workflows for efficiency • I put a space before the NCR workflow so it is the first option
