  4. What are the required materials for this class? • 1 spiral notebook: 11 x 8 ½ inches with 3-5 subjects • BLACK ink pens • #2 pencils 3 Subjects 11 x 8 ½

  5. These items will remain in class for everyone to share: • 1 dry erase marker • 1 large box of tissue • 1 pack of glue sticks • 1 pack of small post it notes • 1 pack of scotch tape

  6. How can I keep up with my child’s grades? • The CLARITY Parent Portal will be open on October 3, 2012. You will be able to check all your child’s grades for every class online! http://www.lcps.org/domain/12394 • If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Bryant.

  7. How can I keep up with my child’s assignments? • Insist that your child write all assignments in his/her agenda and check your child’s agenda regularly. • Check your child’s notebook regularly. • If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Bryant.

  8. What do I do when my child’s says, “I don’t have any homework.”“I did my homework in Titan Time.” • Your suggested response should be, “You always have homework. Reading and studying is part of your homework. Consistent hard work is the most important habit for academic success and growth.” • First, establish a designated homework/study time and space. • Please insist that your child to use this designated “homework” time for specific assignments, reading, AND review.
