1. Mrs. Stamper & Mrs. Bryant’s Pre K Class Theme and Activities • This is our last week on Earth & Sky. We are focusing on how we can take care of our Earth. • We are blending our letter sounds together to read short vowel words. The children are having fun reading! Please practice at home with your child (Ex. cat – say each letter sound /c/ /a/ /t/). • How does this relate to me? After reading to your child, ask them has something like this happened to them? Allow them to explain. • We have been measuring the length of objects. How many cubes long is the table? Important Dates to Remember • March 1st – Dr. Seuss’ Birthday • March 3rd – Celebrating Dr. Seuss’ Birthday with our Kindergarten Buddies • March 11th - Black History Program & Student of the Month Celebration @ 6:30PM • March 14th – Make –up school day • March 27th– Field Trip to the Children’s Museum (look for the permission slip to come home soon) Reminders: • Remember to send in Box Tops! • Please check your child’s folder daily for important information. • Please bring in an extra set of extra clothes in case of an accident. • We are in need of liquid soap and wipes.
