Conclusions and Recommendations • Clinics will benefit from formal training in public insurance programs, particularly about the Healthy Kids eligibility criteria. • Presumptive eligibility should be granted to children ages 0-18 by public insurance programs.
Conclusions and Recommendations • Clinics should make every effort to refer families of eligible children to community based organizations that are knowledgeable about enrollment criteria of all public insurance programs.
