RATE YOUR F.A. ABILITIES: Remember: NO Judgment, this is a Journey! #1: YES! I use FA in my classroom often & with ease #2: YES! I use FA in my classroom but sometimes have some wrinkles to iron out #3: Hmmm, I use FA in my classroom, but sometimes I am not sure if I am doing it right #4: I struggle a little with FA, I attempt it in my classroom but still not sure about the whole process #5: I attempt to use FA in my classroom, however, I really struggle with the entire process and am not sure if I am even using it correctly.
GROUP TASK: 10-12min: Discuss 1-2 FA tools you have used in your classroom. Then, brainstorm a new tool based on your groups discussion (or the examples shown by FAME team)to use this year! GROUP ROLES - Groups of 3-4: • Group Leader:You will start the sharing process & facilitate your groups discussion • Timer: Don't let your group talk too long! Give each person approx. 2-3 minutes to share, then move on, if you have more time at the end, get back to those who ran short of time. • Scribe:write down the ideas that were discussed in as much detail as possible, Your FAME team will try to create a list of FA ideas for the staff based on your notes • Affirmer/On Task:Keep your group on task & stay positive! • Reporter:Reports your groups new idea to the staff
