Pearl Harbor • A day that will live in infamy December 7, 1941, according to Franklin D. Roosevelt the president of U.S.A. from 1933-1945. This day was the attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan, which killed 2,388 and wounded 1,178 Americans. During the attack 2 battleships, I minelayer, and 2 destroyers were sunk and also 188 aircrafts were destroyed. The reason that this attack was made so that the Imperial Japanese Army could advance on Southeast Asia countries in order to require recourses such as oil and rubber.
