Isolated Bad-CAC Strip at UCSB • For first 57 modules produced at UCSB, there was a slight misunderstanding of bonding rules • Bonded isolated Bad CAC channel that were not also marked as a bad IDIEL channel • 23 of 57 modules had at least one such channel • 42 channels total • Plucking channels would result in a few more Grade B modules • Not a large concern

Testing Results on Isolated Bad CAC Strips • All modules have been fully tested with ARCS and LT system • Both pulsed and continuous LED tests taken • ALL of the 42 strips had regular test results (passed) • No problem seen with these channels CAC@ 100 Hz measured (in pF) at QTC Yes, that’s negative capacitance!!!
