Tropical Rainforest By: Will Brooks and Daniel Schlenker
Characteristics of Tropical Rain forest • In an average year in a tropical rain forest, the climate is very humid because of all the rainfall, which amounts to about 250 cm per year. The rain forest has lots of rain because it is very hot and wet. This climate is found near the equator. Plants that thrive here must find a way to get sunlight because most of the sun’s energy is absorbed by the canopy. Tropical rainforests are home to more animals and plants then any biome on the planet. Most of the animals it is home to have not been discovered yet.
