  2. Whenever we come across a Dolphin, we know that there is nothing to be scared of, as they are one of the friendliest water organisms. There a number of dolphin facts that many people are unaware of. We will be highlighting some of the dolphin facts that might surprise many of you! First of, we will be talking about some general dolphin facts. Some people might know but dolphins do not consist of gills and have lungs instead they categorize them as mammals and not fish. As opposed to fish, they cannot remain underwater for too long, as they have to come on the top surface to catch a breath. One of the most interesting dolphin facts are that the male dolphin is known as bulls while female dolphin is known as the cow. What is even interesting to know is that baby dolphins are known as calves! Unbelievable, right?

They are much more than just this and have so many interesting things attached to their species.
