What is A Six-Pack Ring? • A Six-Pack Ring is what holds bottles of Soda, they are plastic rings. They are these, and are often caught around necks of animals like these.
How does it affect the ocean? • Since Plastic is not Biodegradable, it can affect the ocean for a very long time. • Seals and Sea lions can be muzzled. • They will not decompose for 400 years. • 100,ooo marine life and 2 million birds die every year from being caught in them. Yep, that many sea life die from these!
What can Humans do to Stop It? • Humans can cut up the Six-Pack Rings after using them and before throwing them away. • Soda company’s don’t use these as often, and besides, most people buy twelve packs anyway. Before: After:
