  2. Geographical Location The Savanna is in parts of, South America, Africa, and a large part of India.

  3. Weather and Climate The temperature in the savanna is relatively hot, the average climate is 93 degrees Fahrenheit in the wet season. In the dry season, it’s 61- 70 degrees Fahrenheit, so still not that cold ever in the savanna In the dry seasons, an average of 4in. of rain falls, in the wet season an average of 15-25 inches of rain falls. Between December and February no rain will fall at all, although the dry season is oddly cool.

  4. Fauna • Savanna Elephant Genus Name-Loxodonta Species: africana The Savanna Elephant is the largest land mammal in the world. They weigh up to 10,000lbs. And can grow to a height of 12ft.

  9. Flora During the dry season, the grass dies back but the roots survive during many months. A savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with shrubs and isolated trees. Rain is rare so forests don’t grow The east African savannas are covered with acacia trees.
