  3. Some History Celebrated on March 8th of every year. General celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women. Its is also a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements. It started as a Socialist political event. It was first national Women’s Day was observed in the United States in 1909, by 1910 it was celebrated in many other countries, mainly eastern Europe.
