  10. Lewin’s Stages: unfreezing, disturbance, consolidation • Change occurs when barriers are weakened or strengthen the driving forces • More effective to weaken barriers • Permanent change must be refrozen • Change agents are key to making sense of the change process that is underway Lewin

Direct assistance to teachers must be provided including clinical supervision and peer coaching.
