Jupiter • The planet Jupiter is the fifth planet out from the sun. • Itis two and a half times more massive than all the other planets in the solar system combined. • It is made primarily of gases and is therefore known as a gas giant.
Venus • Venus the second planet from the sun. • Venus is named for the roman goddess of love and beauty. • This planet is the only planet named after a female.
Earth • Earth is were we live. • It gives us oxygen food and water. • Most important is that it is were we live.
Mars • Mars is the 4th planet from the sun. • It’s named after the Roman god of war. • It is often described as “the red planet’’.
The Asteroid belt • There are over 200 objects in the asteroid belt. • The asteroid belt is larger than 60 miles (100km). • The average of an asteroid is-73C-(100degeresF).

Uranus • Uranus is the 7th planet from the sun and isthe 3rd largest in the solar system. • Its diameter 31,763 (51,118km).
Neptune • Neptune is the furthest from the sun and is the 4th largest planet. • It has a diameter of (30,775 49,528km)
