  1. Philippines Its culture, how Islam spread, and its architecture.

  2. Islam in Philippines The range of religion in Philippines goes as follows: Catholics 80.9%, Aglipayan 2%, Evangelical Christians 2.8%, Iglesia ni Cristo 2.3%, Islam 5%, other Christian denominations 4.5%, 1.8% other religion practicers, 0.6% didn't specify, 0.1% non-religious.

  3. Food Filipino food is influenced by Western and Asian cuisine. A typical Pinoy diet consists of six meals a day; breakfast, snacks, lunch, snacks, dinner, and a midnight snack before bed. A most popular Filipino dish is the Lechón, or roasted pig. Rice is a staple food in the Filipino diet, and is usually eaten together with other things. The most popular food in the Filipino cuisine is pork. So that can tell you there are a lot of pigs in the Philippines.

  5. Clothes and Culture The capital of the Philippines is Manila. The culture name is Filipino. The traditional clothing for men is called Barong Tagalog. It is made of jusi or pineapple cloth called pina, woven pineapple leaves. It is worn over a collarless Chinese shirt called camisa de Chino. It is usually used for occasions and meetings. The traditional clothing for women is called terno, pronounced tee-AIR-no. It is worn for formal occasions. Terno and Barong Tagalog.

  6. Flag In Tagalog (the language of the Filipino), this flag is called Tatlong Bituin at Isang Araw (Three Stars and A Sun) or Pambansang Watawat (National Flag). The eight rays on the sun stand for the Philippines first group of provinces. The three stars stand for the Philippines main regions which are Visayas, Luzon, and Mindanao.

  7. Architecture The Phillippines basic architecture is something like this Nipa Hut. It is traditionally made from bamboo sticks lashed together. It is covered with special nipa leaves to keep rain and coconuts out of the house. It is a lot like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand's architecture because of the stilts they all use to stay safe from floods.
