APEC Secretariat Report on Key Developments - APEC China 2014 Priorities: To be announced—will disseminate at next EWG Meeting. - SCE issues: Proceeding with consideration of ECOTECH fora’s Strategic Plans. Still looking forward to receiving EWG’s Strategic Plan. - Potential changes in Project Procedures—funding availability for next round should be announced around February, 2014. - Piloting a two-session system for APEC projects this year.
EWG Independent Assessment • Independent Assessment for Working Groups since 2006. • September 2013—Draft Report of Independent Assessment of the Energy Working Group Completed • Comments Sought from EWG Members. • SCE will expect a report from EWG by SCE2 next year regarding EWG’s progress on recommendations.
2014 Session Dates To be announced by BMC, late 2013. Concept notes will probably will be due at end of February, 2014 for Session 1, and end of July, 2014 for Session 2.
