  3. Education has a huge area of influence • Education is one of the most influential things in the world. If we were to reach the Millennium Goal of primary education for all, it would substantially increase progress towards the other 7 goals. It is a proven fact that for the most part, educated people make smarter decision.

Relation With the other goals How do you think educating the population influences the other goals? • Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger • Promote gender equality and empower women • Reduce child mortality • Improve maternal health • Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases • Ensure environmental sustainability • Develop a global partnership for development
