Select Committee • Meet to focus on special issues • Can we think of an example of a special issue? I was a special issue. Currently there is a House Select Committee on me!
Joint Committee • A committee that meets between House and Senate to discuss issues
Conference Committee • Special meeting between House and Senate that corrects differences between similar bills

Leader of Party • In more recent times, the President is the Leader of his political party • Represents all of the goals and aspirations of his party
