  2. Frontal Lobe -- # 4 on Diagram • Concerned with reasoning, planning, parts of speech and movement, emotions, and problem-solving.

  3. Occipital Lobe -- # 1 on Diagram • Concerned with many aspects of vision.

  4. Parietal Lobe -- # 2 on Diagram • Concerned with perception of stimuli related to touch, pressure, temperature and pain.

  5. Temporal Lobe -- # 1 on Diagram • Concerned with perception and recognition of auditory stimuli (hearing) and memory.

  6. Hypothalamus • The main function of the hypothalamus is homeostasis. Factors such as blood pressure, body temperature, fluid balance, and body weight are held to a certain value. • When this balance is disturbed, your body reacts to get it back to normal.

  7. Thalamus • Motor Control • Receives auditory, sensory and visual signals. • Relays sensory signals to the cerebrum
