ISOC Belgium restructure phase started November 2003. Associated membership with other organisations such as Feweb, KVIV, PUB/TIK, … First big event : “the Day of the Technology” (March 2004), event organised by Flemish Government. Future actions • Positioning ISOC Belgium as communicator between Internet users (civilians as well as companies) and the government. • Organizing events, establishing workgroups before end of 2004. • Participation in government projects (teleworking, e-Government, e-Identity) • Potential growth of membership next 2 month’s : 200 members. • Expected growth until year-end : 1000 members. • Supporting ISOC-ECC, local actor/facilitator for European Institutions (Brussels).
