3/24 France Technical / Passing Setup: In pairs. 1 touch passing 6 yds apart. 30 second intervals. Count number of successful passes. Compare against other groups. 4 rounds. Progression: Pass in air. Allow bounce but only count passes received out of air and played back. Arrive Paris ~ Transfer to Montdidier Training (Afternoon) (75 minutes) Technical / Passing Setup: Groups of 5 with 1 Ball. Diamond shape with 1 player in middle. Concept: Pass from/to middle player. 1 touch required from middle player and preferred from outside players but 2 touches allowed. 1 minute intervals. Count 1 touch passes. Compare against other groups. Rotate middle player. Coaching Points: Body over ball, strike through middle, pace of ball, body preparation (know where you want to play before ball arrives), move in support, maintain distance / space. Tactical / 5v1 Keep Away Setup: 30yd x 20yd grid. Retain player shape. Add 1 defender to apply pressure. 1 minute intervals. Score 1 and 2 touch passes. Coaching Points: Retain space and shape, add deception (face 1 way and play the other). Progression : 5v2 Keep Away. Defenders score when offense can’t 1 or 2 touch pass OR ball goes out of bounds.
3/25 France Montdidier ~ Paris Training (Morning) (60 minutes) Technical / Passing Setup: Groups of 3 with 1 Ball. Concept: “Paint the field” by passing and moving. Patterns ~ short, short, long; overlap; wall pass, 1 touch.. Count 1 touch passes. Compare against other groups Tactical / 9v5 to ½ Field Setup: 9 defending goal. 5 attacking goal. Defending side plays to 2 wide goals at midline. Coaching Points: Possession out of the back. Keeper initiates attack. Movement in support of ball. Get ball forward quickly. Tactical / 9v5 to Goal Setup: 9 attacking goal. 5 defending goal. Defending side plays to 2 wide goals at midline. Coaching Points: Create opportunities in front of goal by linking with forward players. Convert opportunities.
3/26 France Technical / Passing Setup / Concept: 4 Players with 2 Balls per group. Form triangle with cones. 1 Player per cone with 1 Player in the middle. 2 Players at base of triangle with Balls serve passes to center player who turns and plays pass to player at apex of the triangle. Player at apex moving to either side of cone to offer angle. Once ball received by apex player, ball played back to server. Second pass is initiated by other server as soon as middle player turns and passes to apex player. 2 minute intervals then rotate middle player. Coaching Points: Technique on turn, technique on passing, center player opening body for receipt, center player and apex player providing angles of support (no straight 3 player lines), apex player timing of support runs. Montdidier ~ Amiens ~ Montdidier Training (Morning / Recovery) (75 minutes) Technical / Passing Setup: Groups of 4 with 2 Balls. Concept : Find open player and move. Patterns ~ Switched to sequence passing with 1 Ball. Game / 3 Touch to Zone Setup: 2 x 7yd x 7yd squares 6yds apart. 2 players per square comprise a team. 1 ball. Concept: Team 1 serves ball on the floor from their grid to the opposing team’s grid. 3 touches maximum allowed to return ball by Team 2 to Team 1’s grid. Play 3 minute intervals. Winning team moves “up the ladder” and losing team moves “down the ladder” to face new opponents. Scoring: Ball bounces in opposing team’s grid and they cannot control and return, Ball bounces out of grid, Ball stops, more than 1 consecutive touch by 1 player. Coaching Points: Angle provided by teammate, body shape on receipt. Technical / Volley & Heading Setup / Concept: 3 Players with 2 Balls per group. 2 Players serve. 1 Player returns ball to server using foot volley or header.

Just 23 SavesODP 22 Corner Kicks ODP 0 St. Just 5 Fouls ODP 3 St. Just 4 Offside ODP 3 St. Just 5 Game conditions: Perfect; sunny, 65 degrees, natural turf, flat surface. Notes: Formation 4-4-2 Goals conceded on 1 breakaway (34th min), crosses (52nd and 63rd min), solo effort in penalty box (60th min), set pieces (65th and 70th min) Tough match overall. Score respectable at the half. However, we couldn’t adjust to physical size of opponent’s midfielders and the overall speed of play. Lucky to exit the field conceding only 6 goals. 3/28 Belgium Brugge OYSAN ODP Girls vsSinaai Girls U13 Win 5 to 0 OYSAN ODP Boys vs FCH Sinaai U13 Win 5 to 4 Stats Shots on Goal ODP 8 Sinaai 7 Saves ODP 5 Sinaai 2 Corner Kicks ODP 4 Sinaai 0 Fouls ODP 4 Sinaai 2 Offside ODP 2 Sinaai 0 Game conditions: Nice; sunny, 60 degrees, natural turf, flat surface but mostly dirt. Notes: Formation 4-4-2 Goals conceded on 2 breakaways (8th min and 21st by #8), solo effort in penalty box (32nd min), restart se (60th min). Goals scored on header (20th min), 2 breakaways (47th and 54th min), 2 corners (39th and 44th min) ~ 1 a cracking volley! Very even, open and hard fought match by both sides. All players looked comfortable with overall demands of the game and speed of play. Caught “napping” on restart which tied match at 4 to 4. Men of the match: CheihkAtamao (2 Goals + 2 Assists), Tommy Paltani (1 Goal), Caleb Whittaker (2 Goals)

Players lost footing often. Notes: Formation 4-4-2 Goal conceded on cross to open player for volley (22nd min). Goals scored on solo effort (5th min), penalty kick (54th min), long ball over top (68th min). Very even, open and hard fought match by both sides. Even at the half. Boys battled hard but did not play very attractive football. Sluggish start. Couldn’t get out of own ½ during 1st half. Scored on a quick counter attack. Notes: Formation 4-4-2 Goal conceded on 3 crosses to open players (40th, 52nd, and 69th min) and 1 turnover on miskick from the back (20th min) Goal scored on cross (41st min). Very even match in 1st half. Boys started showing signs of fatigue due to number of consecutive games and size of pitch. Opposition substitutes at the half proved the tipping point. Played an overall more attractive game with more attempts to link. Men of the match: Tommy Paltani (commanded central midfield all by himself), Chandler Gerstenslager, Connor Williams
