  3. Life in a Minute • I was born in Panama city, Florida, but grew up in the Birmingham area. I attended and graduated from Jackson State University with a bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for 23 years. I taught 6 years in South Georgia, and the rest in Alabama.
