2. A word “Blog” is formed from “Web Log”. Similar to e-mail accounts, user can create “Blog” at specific location on internet. • A blog is used as a communication platform to interact with people. The owner of the blog can create the blog about anything of their preference. • It is user’s own space where he / she can keep (post) certain articles, ideas, news, facts, opinions, etc. which other visitors can view. • Blogs are usually structured, organized by category and can be updated as and when required. • As compared to e-mails, communication is fast, as visitors (so called bloggers) can quickly view the comments and even post his / her own thoughts on the subject. • With reference to a particular topic, as information sharing and opinion forming can be collectively done, blog is considered as one of the strongest tool to connect people on social ground.
