  5. Steps to Becoming BOLD • You are in debt to everyone around you. (Greeks/Non-Greeks; Wise/Foolish) • The Great Commission is not optional. (“Go ye therefore”) • Sharing Christ is your Obligation.

  6. Steps to Becoming BOLD • Have you been faithful to follow Christ in obedience by sharing your faith? • Do you sense the burden of telling the lost? • How well are you doing in paying off the debt you owe those around you?

  7. Steps to Becoming BOLD 2) Become an Eager Soulwinner 15. That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you Who are at Rome.

  8. Steps to Becoming BOLD An Eager Soulwinner is: • Prepared • Enthusiastic • Raring to go • Zealous

  9. Steps to Becoming BOLD • - The Gospel brings excitement to everyone it reaches. • Our sense of debt in telling others should lead us to eagerness. • Because our relationship with Christ is so awesome, we should be excited to tell the lost!

  10. Steps to Becoming BOLD • If a lost friend came to you and asked, “How can I become a Christian?” would you know what to say? • Are you eager to share Christ with your lost friends? If not, why?

  11. Steps to Becoming BOLD 3) Discover the Power that is Backing you 16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes

  12. Steps to Becoming BOLD The Power of God is: • Vigorous • Intense • Sovereign • Without Limit

Steps to Becoming BOLD • Jesus prefaced the Great Commission with, “All the power that is in heaven and in earth has been given to me.” • How much power is that? • When we share the Gospel, it is not in our power but His. • Let God, through the power of His Holy Spirit, work through you to reach the lost.

  14. Steps to Becoming BOLD • Who’s power are you relying on to share the Gospel? • If God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, works through you – what should you fear in witnessing?

  15. Steps to Becoming BOLD • 1) Realizing your Obligation to share by, • 2) Eagerly telling others about Christ, • 3) In the Power of the Holy Spirit • Leads to: BOLDNESS

  16. Steps to Becoming BOLD A Bold Christian is: • Courageous • Daring • Confident • Not Ashamed
