  1. 9 Must-Eat Nutrients for Your Child Eating healthy is crucial, especial for kids since they require necessary nutrients and vitamins for their growth. Without keeping up with some compulsory nutritional supplement, children can suffer poor concentration levels, anemia, depression, malnutrition, etc. Kids can be picky eaters. So get creative to make their dishes colourful, which can attract them. They should at least consume nine nutrients daily for a balanced diet to help grow a healthy brain and body. 1. Protein Protein produces building blocks for a growing body, boosts the immune system. Proteinaceous foods such as meat, poultry, eggs, nuts, beans, etc., help break down food into energy and transport oxygen through the blood.
