Chancellor White’s State of the CSU Address: • The CSU will commit an additional $50 million to advance student achievement and bolster degree completion. • Seven priority investment areas to expand and enhance existing strategies that support student success. January 2014
Student Outcomes & Impact • Over 436,000 students enrolled in the CSU • 10,000 more students than 2011-2012 • 102,000 new undergraduates enrolled in fall 2012 • 96% of new freshmen came from California high schools • 91% of new undergraduate transfer students came from California Community Colleges • Nearly 100,000 degrees awarded in 2012-2013
CSU Admissions Eligibility- no changes 1/3 of CSU campuses admit freshman applicants based only on CSU eligibility
