Discussion • The U-Clip® device avoids the need to perform intracorporeal knots usually necessary for traditional laparoscopic repair and make the procedure faster and easier.
Conclusion • The study concluded that the U-clip avoids intracorporeal knots, simplifying the laparoscopic procedure without adding significant cost. • Further RCT trial should be done to determine whether U-clip compares favorably with the classical intracorporeal knotting technique in the more traditional laparoscopic surgery of perforated peptic ulcer.
