  4. In Unions There is Strength Wage workers did not share with their employers in the benefits of big business How/Why? Originality and creativity in short demand-Why?   6. Unhorsing the Knights of Labor May Day strikes in 1886-half failed Haymarket Square-May 4, 1886 labor disorders/meeting a bomb went off killing/injuring dozens of people 5 sentenced to death/3 stiff prison terms/1 suicide 3 pardons in 1892 by Gov. Altgeld Associated with anarchy and violence
