Ball and Socket • The ball and socket jointallow you to move at a 360° rotation. (Hip and Shoulder) • This joint allows for the most range of motion
Pivot Joint • This allows one joint to rotate around another • Picture a basketball player that pivots on one foot so not to travel • Located in forearm and neck
Hinge Joint • Knee, elbow, and fingers • Move in only 1 direction • Open and shut like a door • Elbow
Gliding Joint • This joint allows one bone to slide over another • Located in between your vertebrae and your wrists and ankles
