1. Spiritual Awakening: The Unexpected Process Spiritual awakening, is awakening of a dimension of reality beyond ego. The ego is our sense of self or “I.” This awakening occurs when, for any reason, the ego somehow is gone and a spirit is awakening inside. There are a lot of misconceptions about spiritual awakening. Some connect this to god while some quote it as some external force which no body has seen but felt. A person goes through a heaps of ups and downs in life but a few weird signs occur when a person is spiritually awakened. This might confuse a normal human as the signs are quite confusing. Almost all people face spiritual awakening once in their lifetime. Here a few signs which occur when a person is spiritually awakened: - Behaviour- the first sign to notice is a change in your everyday behaviour. You become calm, your ego subsides, you forget I, me and myself. Emotional wellbeing- when you are spiritual awaken your emotions are always in check. You are neither very happy nor very sad. Your emotions stay neutral. Slow down and reflect back- this can be a bit confusing as you start slowing down with your everyday chores and you might as well zone out for some time and come back. This might continue for a while. You are physically there but mentally even you don’t know where you are. You start calculating things a bit. Priorities and values- when a person is not spiritually awake he/she lives as per the rules of the society. When you don’t really care about what are set by the society and start making your own rules then you know the process has started with you. Transformation of inner world- when a person is not spiritually awake his/her thoughts run between family, friends, work, money etc. but when a person starts to think internally i.e. thoughts, feelings, emotions etc. then you know spiritual awakening is entering your life. Inner freedom and okayness- when a person is spiritually awake, they feel okay in every situation. They feel free from inside. They have no barriers inside their minds and hence this gives them a feeling of wholeness. There is no emptiness they feel full with whatever they have.

2. Honesty and responsibility- the feeling of self-honesty and self-responsibility increases when a person is spiritually awakening. They want to be true to the world because they can’t lie to themselves. They feel responsible always. Change in lifestyle- a person faces a drastic change in everyday lifestyle. Their choices change. They feel more connected to the nature. They will never harm nature at any cost and would not even let anybody else do that. Somethings which were okay for them earlier they might all of sudden start opposing it completely. Interconnectivity and oneness- a spiritual awake person feel connected to the earth and feel responsible towards our mother nature. They can even predict weather and they are totally connected with themselves and hence feel one and whole. These were a few points to look when a person feel he/she is going through spiritual awakening. Their intuition power increases and they can predict a few things correctly as well.
