  7. Dehydration, the loss of water from the body causes an imbalance in important minerals in the body such as sodium and potassium which are needed for muscles and nerve functions. To combat dehydration, oral rehydration solution (ORESOL) must be taken. ORESOL is readily available in drugstores and hospitals but can also be prepared at home. If you have an internet connection, try to look in literature or government health agency website, if none, make an interview in some individuals with medical background (nurse, midwife or Science teacher) in your community on how you are going to prepare ORESOL at home. Write down information you have gathered creatively. You can present it using brochures or pamphlets. Include the materials you needed and the procedures to be done. Picture below is an example of brochure/pamphlet. Your work will be graded according to the rubric below: CATEGORY 4 3 2 1 Content - Accuracy All facts in the brochure are accurate. Knowledge Gained All students in the group can accurately answer all questions related to facts in the brochure and to technical processes used to create the brochure.
