  2. ICT ECOSYSTEM • ICT is an eco-system and not stand alone device • Eco system consist of • distribution system of instructional materials • connected to digital devices • users get these devices and are trained to use it • This is built for every one with accessibility in mind

  3. WITHOUT DIGITAL DEVICE If no digital device • Intermediary converts materials into format that student can read in • Braille • Talking book • Accessible E-text if offline digital device can be provided

  5. DIGITAL DEVICES FOR STUDENTS • Computer: reading and writing • Tablet: reading and limited writing • Smart phone: reading and limited writing • DAISY player: reading only. Can help in taking audio notes Special educator or expert need to assess and prescribe appropriate assistive technology for student
