A community partnership program providing campus visits, parent workshops, and college readiness tools for 8th grade students and parents in Mundelein, IL to foster motivation and understanding of American educational system. Data shows positive impact on college attendance rates.

  3. Goals • To give 8th grade students in Mundelein, Illinois a “taste of college” through campus visits. • To provide information and tools parents need to understand the American educational system.

  14. Program Data In 2018, 84% of students responding to the post-program survey reported that they planned to attend college immediately following high school.
