  5. ERAS 2011 NS Activity • Total Applicants: 427 • USMGs: 279 • IMGs: 148 • Match Data – 98.5% Match Rate • 3/195 Unfilled Positions • USMGs: 175 (91.1%) • IMGs: 17 (8.9%) • 2:1 ratio of applicants to positions • 1.4: 1 ratio of USMGs to positions

ERAS 2012 - Registration • Registration has closed. • 94% NS programs registered to participate in ERAS 2012. • Participating Specialties and Programs will be updated May 2011 • https://services.aamc.org/eras/erasstats/par/index.cfm • Update your regional interview calendars on SNS Web site for the 2011-12 season

ERAS 2012 – Technical Changes • PDWS Changes • Removal of the 2-digit USMLE score from transcripts. • Label Changes: Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Current Visa Status, Expected Visa Status. • Conviction Questions: • Misdemeanor Question Added • Felony Question Remains • ERAS Data Filters modified to enable programs to screen data, if appropriate

  11. ERAS Reengineering • 5 - 6 pilot institutions • July 1, 2012 pilot begins • DIO/DME must provide approval • All ERAS programs at pilot institution MUST participate – no exceptions • Full launch July 1, 2013 – pending outcomes from pilot • Why only pilot institutions first?
