Ethos (ethics) Ethos: appealing to ethics or credibility of who is persuading (fairness) This means, convincing people using what is credible or fair. This appeal is used most often when someone credible represents something, like a professional athlete or celebrity.
Logos (Logic) Logos: appeal to reason This means, convincing people using hard facts, evidence, case studies and anecdotes.
Pathos (emotions) Pathos: appeal to emotion This means, convincing people by calling on their emotions—making them feel something for the topic.
