  2. AP Test • 100 multiple choice in 70 minutes • 2 FRQs in 50 minutes • Both the MC and FRQs will ask that you apply your own knowledge to analyze psychological information • Must provide essential facts and definitions

  3. Multiple choice • Always has 5 choices • Asks you to apply a psycholoical theory • Ask you to find a wrong idea/group related concepts • More likely to test subject content than history of psychology

  4. FRQs • Often a scenario to analyze • May ask to apply psychological concepts to that scenario • Describe steps in a given process • The deeper the understanding of the concept the better

  5. Advice for FRQs (in class and on AP test) • Spend a few minutes pre-writing/drafting • Stick to the topic (no opinions, no extra info that doesn’t help answer the question) • Clear handwriting- make it easy for the reader
