What kind of cells? • Nucleus- Only Eukaryotic cells have a nucleus. • Lysosome- They are located in Plant and animal cells.
Where is it located in the cell? Nucleus- it floats in Lysosome- It is the middle of the located in the cell in the cytoplasm. cytoplasm.
What is its function? Nucleus- controls the activities of a cell through regulating gene expression. Lysosome-it digests excess or worn out organelles, food particles, and engulfed viruses or bacteria.
In a Factory… • Nucleus- The nucleus is the main office of the cell because it makes all the decisions. • Lysosome- The lysosome serves as a janitor because it gets rid of all the waste in the cell.
