How has our visual watching experience changed over time with TV? • Cable, netflix, TIVO/DVR, binge-watching, on-demand, on hand-held devices (computer/phone)

How has the introduction of TIVO & DVR changed the way we watch TV? • Consider: ~20% of the 110 million TV owners have digital recording options & that number continues to rise • More than ½ the people surveyed only watch recorded shows (i.e. no “live” TV) • People skip ~ 70% of commercials
